Giants Should Be Fresh Following a Bye

Following a 4-game losing streak, and a perfectly timed bye week, the New York Giants should be well-prepared for their big matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. Both teams have underperformed this season, but both teams still appear okay when it comes to a possible playoff berth in January. This game, though, could hurt one team’s chances significantly, as both are likely to have similar records by the end of the season, and the all-important tiebreaker can actually be determined this weekend. If the bye week serves its proper purpose for the Giants, and I believe that it will, I fully expect the G-Men to take full advantage of their extra time to prepare, when they face the Falcons on Sunday. New York should look like a transformed team, and they should be poised and ready to make some noise in the NFC from here on out.

Below is a picture of Eli Manning dressed up in some Will Smith garb from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. If the bye week has Manning and the Giants THAT fresh, the rest of the league needs to watch out!
